Art Classes Time: Pastels
Come check out our popular art classes taught by the talented Loreta Secord. There is a selection of oil painting, pastels and mixed media classes being offered at Bow Cliff. Loreta teaches and guides from beginner artist to advanced artist.

Stephen Dozois will be teaching the drawing and watercolors classes at Bow Cliff. He is an experienced Visual Art Teacher since 1994 and is highly recommended from Wildflower Art Centre where he teaches art classes. His technique draws on both contemporary and traditional styles.

All exercise classes contain the key elements of older adult fitness; Cardiovascular, Strength, Flexibility & Balance Training. These classes are designed to help older adults to improve functional fitness, in order to make ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) easier and more enjoyable. Instructor, Corina Juarez will use a wide variety of equipment to challenge participants. Rubber chickens, parachutes, hula hoops, balls, weights, fly swatters and balloons are all part of her creative and laughter filled classes. Meet new friends and improve your over all fitness, in order to make your daily tasks easier.

Paper Tole Classes
Paper Tole, also known as three-dimensional decoupage, is the art of handcrafting three-dimensional pictures from flat prints. Learn this time-honoured craft under the skilled tutelage of Jenny Cools.

The Handicrafts Guild offers a chance to do knitting, needlework, weaving, tatting, and rug hooking. They are a vibrant group of women who are keeping the tradition alive. They meet at Bow Cliff Centre on Tuesdays 8:30am – 3:00pm and every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month 6:30 – 9:30pm. http://www.chinookguild.ca
