Brief History of the Bow Cliff Centre
Bow Cliff Seniors was established in 1975 to serve the needs of seniors in southwest of Calgary. Over the course of the past 45 years, BCS has grown and diversified its programming and events. In 2016, its original location at 608 Poplar Road was demolished and the group was relocated to 3375 Spruce Drive SW which is adjacent to the old building.

FCSS
The Family & Community Support Services provide funding to social services in the Calgary community. They emphasize prevention, volunteerism, and local autonomy. FCSS Calgary prevented many people from experiencing crisis through building skills to overcome challenges like poverty, homelessness, violence, addictions, and mental health issues. FCSS has a great partnership with the Government of Alberta and municipalities. |
