A Message from our Executive Director Happy 50th Anniversary Bow Cliff Seniors! Bow Cliff turns 50 on December 19th. Thank you to our volunteers, members and special guests who joined us for our 50th Anniversary Reception on November 20th. A special thank you to our Sponsors and Donors who helped make this one of the most successful fundraisers in our history. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to help offset the increasing costs of maintaining our facility and weekly programming. Tax receipts from ticket sales and donations will be ready in early January. Continuing with our 50th Anniversary celebrations, we will be hosting three special events in December. Please join us for our annual Christmas bake sale on Saturday December 6th. We still need your help donating baked goods for this annual fundraiser. We will also have our traditional $5 breakfast as well as entertainment. On Wednesday December 17th, we will be hosting our annual Christmas luncheon for our members. At the luncheon we will be drawing the three winners of our Christmas raffle, first prize 3 bottles of wine basket valued at $120: second prize of a bottle of prosecco and box of Purdy’s chocolates valued at $80: and third prize of a box of Purdy’s chocolates valued at $50. Contact the office for more details for the Christmas Bake Sale, Christmas Luncheon and Christmas raffle. Tickets for the luncheon are on sale for $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers. We are capping this popular luncheon at 80 people. Raffle tickets are $2 each. Thank you to everyone who will be joining us on our 50th anniversary cruise in February 2026. Our winter programming and event schedule will be announced soon. We had a successful 2025. Thank you to everyone who volunteered for or joined us throughout the year for our programming, events, luncheons, Learning & Conversation Cafés and members social. On behalf of myself, Elanor, Liz, Despina, George and Jonah, I want to wish our Board, our volunteers and our members a Merry Christmas, a Healthy and Prosperous New Year and safe travels during the holiday season. We look forward to seeing everyone throughout our 50th year. |
